Range Rules

Every participant must read and adhere to the following rules at all times.

Safety Comes First

Obey all commands and instructions from Alpha Bear Club staff at all times. Range staff have final authority.
Always keep equipment pointed downrange. Abandon the shot immediately if anything is unsafe.
Only nock, draw, or release when actively shooting your lane and the range is hot.
Never dry-fire bows or equipment. If gear looks or sounds damaged, stop and inform staff immediately.
Stay behind the shooting line until directed by a staff member.
Eye and face protection is strongly recommended. Secure loose clothing and long hair before shooting.
Wait for the range to be declared safe before retrieving arrows or targets.

One shooter per lane at a time unless a staff member approves otherwise.
Know the range status signals: when the range is hot, live; when cold, no shooting.
Shoot only at your assigned target and from your assigned position.
Use only equipment and arrows provided or approved by the club. Outside arrows require staff approval.
Report lost or broken equipment immediately. Damage caused by misuse is the responsibility of the participant.
Do not touch anyone else's equipment without permission.

All participants and guests must follow these rules at all times — there are no exceptions.
Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
No running, horseplay, climbing, or distracting behavior while the range is active.
No outside food, drinks, or open cups on the shooting line.
No alcohol, cannabis, or any intoxicating substance before or during shooting.
Photography is welcome only in designated areas and must respect other guests' privacy.
Audience members must remain in designated areas behind the shooting line.

Every shooter — including minors — must have a signed liability waiver before participating.
Every shooter under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Signing in, booking, or entering the range confirms you accept these rules.
Rules are posted at the range and may be updated. Check the on-site board before each session.
